Family Shabbat

4.15pm 2nd Friday of the month

Starts Friday 10 May, and continues on 14 June, 12 July, 9 August, 13 September, 8 November…

Bring in Shabbat with fun activities, songs, challah & grape juice. Join us for a relaxed shabbat service with storytelling and lively music. No siddurs, this service is hands-free. After school snacks provided.

Beit Sefer Chayim

Tuesday (St Kilda) 4.30pm

Our after-school education program for primary-school aged students in Prep to Grade 5 run jointly by Temple Beth Israel and Etz Chayim Progressive Synagogue. Learn the Jewish calendar, Torah, values, rituals, languages and  more, through the teachings of Progressive Judaism.

B’nei Mitzvah Program

(during school term)

Our program is the experiential, hands-on learning component of TBI’s B’nei mitzvah journey. Develop friendships and a sense of community within the B’nei mitzvah class, alongside important studies of T’filah, Text, Jewish Values, Culture and Social Action.

Netzer

Netzer is our affiliated Progressive Youth Movement.
