Our Kabbalat Shabbat services are sometimes punctuated by the communal and personal celebrations of Baby Namings and Welcome Ceremonies.
Our Shacharit Shabbat services are often punctuated by the communal and personal celebrations of B’nei Mitzvah, Birthdays and Anniversaries. We also take the opportunity to remember those whom we have loved and lost with a special aliyah (Torah call-up) dedicated to memory.
Gesher Lit’filah (“A Bridge to Prayer”) is TBI’s monthly “alternate minyan” for Shabbat morning. It is a lively chavurah-style service, led by the participants themselves – with a Torah-based discussion in place of a drash, and more communal singing than is usual in the main service. Gesher takes place on the second Shabbat of every month. Newcomers are very welcome. Gesher has been running for over 20 years. We hope you’ll give it a try!
Friday 20 October – 6pm
Sweet melodies, tight harmonies and a gently flowing service featuring Ido, Rabbi Gary on acoustic piano, Cantor Laloum and a cool percussive backdrop. Something uplifting for the heart and soul.
