Elul is a month of opportunity, a time when God is more accessible and palpable than any other time of the year. During the next few weeks, our tradition advises us to take advantage of this auspicious month and endeavour to reignite and strengthen our relationship with God and our Jewish community.

This month is a time when we honestly reflect on the year gone by: “Where have we excelled? What do we need to improve? Who do we need to make amends with? Who have we not yet forgiven?”

Though the question might sound psychologically complex, Judaism’s answer is straightforward, though not always easy to implement.

Over the next 28 days, just our tradition challenges us to be our best selves, we wanted to challenge you and your families to try and discover your best selves through our Elul Challenge.
