Give Back this Chanukah

The Donut Factory

Share a moment of ‘gratuitous love’ through hot sweet donuts – there has never been a better or more important time for generosity within our community.

Join us as we provide sweet Chanukah love to all of our TBI activities, Kiddushim, classes, as well as to nourishProject Dignity, to the King David School and to the wider community. We will also be providing donuts to the Sacred Heart Soup Kitchen, Salvation Army Crisis Centre, the local police precincts, and many other interfaith organisations that have been so supportive over the recent months.

Contact us if you’d like to get involved!

Prepare for Chanukah

With the arrival of Chanukah, there are important practices associated with it, which can be easily forgotten from year to year.
We have put together some simplified instructions and a couple of videos to help you follow these traditions and prepare for the Festival of Lights.

The TBI Community

Founded in 1930, Temple Beth Israel is one of the most active and creative congregations in the Australian Jewish community. TBI prides itself on bringing innovation to Jewish traditions. It offers programs for all ages and interest groups, and multiple pathways for members and friends to engage with Progressive Judaism in a way that enhances their lives through spiritual enrichment, learning and community.

Guided by principles of egalitarianism and respect for others, TBI seeks to provide a spiritual home for all who wish to embrace its values.
